Ussama Zahra Shah has an M.A. in Economics from Government College University, Lahore, and an M.A. in English Literature from Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore. She has been teaching since 1994 and has a wide experience in both subjects. Her expertise lies in the teaching of English Language and Literature. She has taught at Lahore College of Arts and Sciences (LACAS) and Resource Academia, and is currently teaching English literature to O levels students at Salamat ICAS (SICAS).
In the teaching of English language at both the primary and high school level, Ussama Shah specializes in developing her students’ reading and comprehension abilities and in developing their writing skills, in part by improving their vocabulary and teaching them to organize and structure ideas and content. In her O-levels English Literature classes, her students gain a deep understanding of the text, develop their analytical skills, and acquire an abiding appreciation for the value of literature in our lives. Her teaching techniques have achieved 100 percent results in Cambridge International Examinations (CIE).
